- This album was recorded primarily with Fruity Loops 3 with a mountain of plug-ins, sample CDs and other goodies.
The America Period (2001-2004) -
In late 2001 Jikkenteki returned to the US and his studio gear. He also stopped actively releasing on mp3.com, hence the lack of "albums" after Ex-Para-Mental. The majority of tracks made between then and the summer of 2003 were made with a large array of different gear, both hardware and software. In the summer of 2003 Jikkenteki started to streamline his studio. One of the reasons is because he began planning his move back to Japan soon and simply could not take everything with him. Another reason is a lot of the equipment was aimed more towards live instrument usage and, while occasionally cool, wasn't being used much. Of the items sold, probably the most important item used in this period was a Yamaha SY-85 synth. In its place a Clavia Nord Lead 1 Rack and an Access Virus B Rack were purchased.
The Present (2004-Now) -
In April of 2004 Jikkenteki once again moved back to Japan on a more or less permanent basis. Several more key pieces of gear and software have been added to PAR-2 East. He continues working on tracks daily with a mix of both hardware and software synths. In addition, he is also working hard on further improving his live setup and well as doing some work with video production and editing. Below is the most up to date gear listing for PAR-2 East.
